Acquisition of Cresta by SQS Software Quality Systems AG
As set out in the attached Press Release, Cresta has been acquired by SQS with effect 1st July.
The UK group will formally operate as SQS-UK from 1st July 2006.
We saw this as an opportunity to step jump our growth plans and become a listed company, as well open up new markets and solutions to better respond and service our client and partner relationships.
Additionally, we found we were very closely culturally aligned with SQS management and staff. Furthermore, this transaction enabled us to remain a pure-play in quality management and testing consultancy – indeed to become the leader in our field in Europe and implicitly open up wider partner discussions.
In the UK and Ireland we will number close to 300 experienced consultants with cross sector knowledge and be able to assist with strategy, functional, performance, training and many other testing services.
