Environments Manager – London
We currently have an opportunity for an Environments Manager. This exciting new role will involve working with our clients to provide services around Configuration Management and/or Release Management including the definition, improvement and management of environments processes.

- You will ideally have at least 2 years hands-on experience working in a production or test environment.
- Previous experience as a Configuration Manager or Release Manager would be preferable.
- You should be able to demonstrate skills in Configuration Management or Release Management tools such as Clearcase or PVCS.
- You should be able to demonstrate a record of managing resources requiring a blend of man management and technical skills, including 3rd party management.
- You must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of change management, platform management (HP, PC) and operating systems.
- Sound problem solving skills, issues management, flexibility and the ability to positively influence clients are critical aspects of the role.
- You must have good written skills and be able to put together clear and concise processes and procedures, and subsequently get client buy-in for them.
Consultants must be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment to customer success and to respond to changes in customer expectations. Consultants must deliver timely and quality services that meet and exceed SQS and customer expectations, as well as build and maintain effective working relationships.
Positions will be based from our London office but applicants should be willing to travel to various client sites. There may also be opportunities to travel to the UK, Europe and South Africa.
